Our sites are developed using Microsoft's .Net Framework, hosted on Microsoft Windows Server 2003. The website structure, user information, and content are stored separately in a Microsft SQL 2005 database. Our experience has taught us that Microsoft provides the most flexible and highly supported software on the market. Installation includes a built-in stylesheet designed to cover the site with an attractive and uniform appearance. This stylesheet can be easily configured to alter just about every element such as font type, color, bullet points, background color, etc. We will use a site skin that provides users with a manageable way to separate application logic/content from its visual presentation. By applying a “skin,” administrators can completely change the look of the site without the need to reorganize content. Skins can be easily designed and implemented based on specific recommendations. We provide reusable, modular code elements to give specific functionality to the user. These modules can be easily added, edited, deleted, restored, moved around on a page or transferred to other pages for greater flexibility. We have a complete library of content-based modules which we have created for other projects that can easily be modified to fit your website. Modular programming is the most cost-effective and efficient method as upgrading code for a specific module can be done without having to reprogram every page on the website.

We provide all customers with a secure, password protected, encrypted environment. The actual passwords are stored in the database as encrypted codes, and require two different decryption keys in order to decode. Should someone gain access to the database, they would not be able to decipher the passwords. Users will be able to change their own personal information and password as needed directly from the website. The Waters Edge Web (WEW) application allows administrators to define and assign roles for different user groups, such as: Guest, Registered User, Administrator, etc. User groups can also be established to represent specific categories in order to isolate the data from a specific user base. When a user logs in to the site, they may access or edit only the information allowed them by their security role. These rights can be assigned to the entire site, a single page of the site, or even to an individual module on a specific page. Individual users may belong to more than one group, and thus may have access and editing rights to multiple secure areas of the site. Confidential information will be locked and every attempt to access protected data will be logged and made available in real-time for security audits. Those users not specifically granted access to protected information will be denied access.
Data Extraction
All data contained within the database can be extracted by anyone with the appropriate security privileges. The extracted data can be displayed in various formats including Excel spreadsheets, XML, PDF, and various delimited formats. Customized extraction is also available into any format which will allow it. Data can be search based on basic or advanced criteria. A copy of the live database will be made available in order for your staff to connect the report writing software of their choice to the live data. Access to this database will be strictly controlled and limited to only specified users. This database will allow your staff to manipulate the dataset without fear of damaging live data.
Help Desk Support
Various levels of technical support will be available to your staff and/or clients. E-mail and telephone calls will be used for basic support requests such as password resets, user account questions, and provide basic How-To responses. We will also provide a user-forum which will serve as a knowledge base for other users. By submitting a question through the forums, the question and answer can be posted for other users to see. In this way, the users have self-service tech support options available as well. Our redundant datacenters are staffed 24x7 in order to keep the servers online. Our upper-level tech support staff are also on-call 24x7 for critical issues and outages. Direct contact information for upper-level tech support staff will be made available to your staff in order to escalate any support request.
